August 2023: Tap Into Your Magic

August has two full moons. Both are super moons and the full moon on 8/30 is a blue moon.

A super moon is when the moon is closest to the Earth and appears to be overly large in the sky. Super moons can also trigger natural disasters with water or creating shifts in the earth.

A blue moon occurs when there is a 2nd full moon in a calendar month or when we have the third full moon in one season. This happens every 2-3 years.

August has some shifts that call on us to tap our magic.

8/1 Full Moon in Aquarius

The Sun in Leo and the Moon in Aquarius. The Full Moon gives us a clear vision where we need to be. The collective needs us to step things up. Take a look at your natal chart and where Aquarius is and Uranus and apply the info here to your personal development.

8/16 New Moon in Leo

Moon and Sun in Leo. The Sun rules here. Take a good, clear look at the self. Be honest about what you need and what you want. Where are Leo and The Sun on your natal chart? Concentrate on those areas to make any changes or personal improvements.

8/23 Sun in Virgo

Mercurian season in earth energy. It’s time to pay attention to the little things. They matter in the bigger picture of your life.

Mercury in Virgo Rx

Mercury in retrograde sees us take a look at how we communicate with ourselves and with others. Mercury rules Virgo. In this time, we need to be clear on the new rules being established for our world. We need to take a look at the laws and what needs to be changed. Those who have a purpose in advocacy and law making need to lend their voice to creating better structure in our legal system. Those laws should reflect the world we need to live in, not laws that put band aids on the current world we live in.

8/28 Uranus in Taurus Rx

Uranus is our rebelliousness, our ability to live life outside of the box. Uranus in Taurus is planned spontaneity. In retrograde, things may feel like they are in suspension. We need to find the courage to make moves in large leaps. We need to make moves that make sense. That’s the only way that we can change the trajectory of things.

8/30 Full Moon in Pisces

Pisces is ruled by Neptune. With this full moon, we need to use all of our current knowledge and skill to transform. It’s important to tap into your magic. With this full moon, we will have trouble seeing through illusions. It’s important to develop Intuition and discernment to see through the illusions. Where Pisces and Neptune are in your natal chart are places where you need to fine tune your discernment.
